In an effort to maintain staff and client safety, the Client Intake and Liaison program is limited to phone or video appointments for the time being. In person appointments can be booked with Cassandra, and will be held at the downtown Public Library.

In an effort to maintain staff and client safety, the Client Intake and Liaison program is limited to phone or video appointments for the time being. In person appointments can be booked with Cassandra, and will be held at the downtown Public Library.

The Client Intake and Liaison Caseworker provides outreach and support services for individuals in Red Deer and surrounding communities.
Specialized support is also provided to Individuals who are currently incarcerated, released from a correctional facility, or at some point have been involved with the criminal justice system.
In collaboration with community agencies, Provincial and Federal Corrections staff, along with other Provincial and Federal government programs, we provide aid in the transition back to the community.
Services include:
- Institutional Support - phone only
- Support for government issued ID replacement - phone for more information; Affidavit ID clinics held every 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month
- Assistance with Record suspension and US Entry Waiver Applications - phone or video
- Career Closet access - contact for more information; job offer letter or letter of employment required
- Referral and access to services in Red Deer and Central Alberta - phone or video
- Adult Literacy Program –
- Community based sessions - suspended
- Red Deer Remand Centre - Some sessions offered in accordance with institutional COVID -19 policies
